  • My primary responsibility was to maintain and expand the new UX design system for enterprise applications, ensuring its consistency, accessibility and adoption across new and legacy apps. Additionally, I conducted workshops and open office sessions to promote adoption of the UX system, facilitating design system adoption and supporting digital transformation and design thinking objectives. I also created governance protocols to streamline design iterations and develop a comprehensive design pattern library.

  • I took the lead design role in developing the interface for the AB worldwide Covid vaccine distribution platform, working in close collaboration with a team of skilled developers. Together, we successfully delivered an efficient and streamlined user interface that catered to the diverse needs of users. Despite the challenging timeline of just 3 months, the project was completed on schedule, showcasing my effective project management abilities. Throughout the process, I remained committed to a user-centric design approach, ensuring that the interface was not only intuitive but also accessible to a global audience.

  • Led, with support from a development team, end-to-end research, design, and prototyping of nine employee-facing enterprise applications. These apps were designed responsively for android, iOS and desktop environments as well as interoperability with various new and legacy systems. Proactively conducted on-site observations at multiple locations to gather invaluable user insights, resulting in enhanced usability. These efforts led to a notable 4% reduction in turnaround time and substantial cost savings of over $2 million annually for AA.

  • Responsible for various design initiatives, including creating visually captivating tradeshow booths to enhance brand experiences, digital promotions for magazines and online journals, branding of new products and designing bespoke giveaways . Moreover, I specialized in crafting user-friendly interfaces for medical lasers, optimizing functionality and intuitive interactions. Additionally, I successfully coordinated branding and advertising efforts across diverse markets in California, Texas, and Slovenia, ensuring a consistent and impactful messaging and visual identity.

  • I collaborated closely with the in-house design team and leadership, actively contributing insights and solutions. I was also called upon to address situations where the in-house design team faced challenges in meeting client expectations. By bridging client expectations with my design capabilities, I ensured effective coordination. Additionally, I provided guidance and support to the team, acting as a valuable resource.

  • In my role, I crafted engaging interactive and static ads for Yellowbook's advertising products, boosting brand visibility. I also led training sessions on motion design and maintained high-quality standards by reviewing team work. I played a key role in developing creative concepts and bringing them to life through animation and visual effects.

  • User-Centric Approach:
At the core of my philosophy is the unwavering belief that successful design begins with understanding the people who will interact with it. I prioritize empathy, conducting thorough research to grasp user behaviors, needs, and aspirations. This foundation allows me to create designs that resonate with users on a deep level.

    Data-Driven Iteration:
Data is a powerful ally in design. I harness the insights gathered from user research and analytics to inform design decisions. Iteration is key, allowing me to refine and optimize designs based on real-world user feedback, ensuring constant improvement and relevance.

    Collaboration and Communication:
Design doesn't happen in isolation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients is essential. Effective communication bridges the gap between design concepts and practical implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.

    Balance of Form and Function:
I firmly believe that great design harmoniously blends visual aesthetics with functionality. It's about creating experiences that not only look beautiful but also work intuitively. Striking this balance enhances user satisfaction and engagement.

    Continuous Learning and Adaptation:
The design and technology landscape is ever-evolving. Staying ahead requires a commitment to continuous learning. I embrace emerging trends, tools, and techniques to remain at the forefront of UX/UI design, ensuring my work remains innovative and relevant.

    Ethical Design:
Upholding ethical standards is non-negotiable. I design with integrity, considering the broader ethical implications of my work. This includes prioritizing user privacy, security, and promoting inclusivity and diversity in design.

  • So, first things first, I start by really getting to know the users. I chat with them, send out surveys, and dig into data to figure out how they behave and what they need. It's like building a character in a story, where I create these user personas and journey maps to visualize how they'll use the product.

Then, we move into the design phase. Here's where the creative juices flow. I sketch out the basic structure with wireframes and prototypes and then turn them into polished mockups, paying close attention to how everything looks, where it's placed, and how it all works together. But it's not a solo gig; I work closely with different teams to make sure our design choices make sense for the business and are doable from a technical standpoint.

After that, it's all about testing and tweaking. We listen to user feedback and make improvements to ensure the product stays easy to use and stays true to its purpose. Even after it's out there, I'm all about keeping an ear to the ground for user input.
